Not for me......

I don't really like boiled sweets of any description. My MIL asks me regularly to get these from Tesco when I do her online shop as they used to be freely available. They are for my FIL to help keep his blood sugar levels down. When I popped into town a few days ago I saw them in the newsagents, somewhere I've bought them before, so I grabbed five packs for him. That should keep him going for a while. They are lying on one of the kitchen tables so we don't forget to them when we next visit. I think Barry is planning a trip there next week.
I wanted to get a walk in today but the wind was just too strong. I could hardly stand up in the garden and didn't fancy battling with it on the hills! Instead I defrosted a freezer which has badly needed doing for some while. When we bought this one Barry was convinced it was frost free, like the others but unfortunately not, such a pain. After much scraping and an attack with the hair dryer it finally gave up all it's collected ice and looked sparkling. Definitely not my favourite job, but worthwhile.
I did some internet browsing and ordered myself a new coat from Rohan. I was actually looking at their website for something completely different. I usually only buy in the sales as they are quite expensive. The coat was half price and something I've looked at previously so fingers crossed I will be pleased with it when it arrives sometime next week.
Easy leftover dinner and a quiet evening.
Gratefuls:
Nothing was lost or destroyed in the high winds
The power remained constant despite warnings from Powergrid
An unexpected bargain
