Camellia
We’ve had rain and winds all day. The temperature is supposed to drop almost 35 degrees throughout the day and night. We decided to go to the estate sale if for no other reason than to get in a short walk. There were 450 people there yesterday and they really cleaned out the home. Hubby and I found a couple items we could not live without: an unopened Pavarotti 10 CD collection for my mother, three dvds that hubby picked out and a few other items that made up our $11 investment. This beautiful camellia bush was in the front garden. I took many photos and decided to share a collage with you. We had lunch and then went to the base to get meds and a few groceries. I finished packing and came to Kim’s where I’ll stay until 5:00 pm tomorrow. I plan to read and just hang around with the boy and his pets. It’s too stormy to go out for any reason. Kim and her family will have a nasty 2-hour drive but Brooklyn should have sunshine for her tournament tomorrow. They will be staying with Kim’s MIL tonight. Hope you have fun plans for a great weekend. It’s Mardi Gras tomorrow for us. Thanks for dropping by. Stay safe. “The flowers of late winter and early spring occupy places in our hearts well out of proportion to their size.” — Gertrude S. Wister
