The woman to the left celebrates her 59th birthday by inviting us, friends and neighbours for dinner this evening. She's a newly retired teacher, teaching the younger school kids about cooking, household economy and other homely subjects. Her cooking was excellent and all, of course, homemade. Need I say we had a very nice evening.

A storm called Otto is building strength outside my windows. At the moment he's over 20m/s. Exciting night.
