We have calves... back blip

The calves are starting to be born. It looks like we will have a warming spell for them thankfully. Sam has 3 calves so far. Henry has 14 but a much larger herd as him and his daughter have their animals on the farm together. It is always exciting and nerve-wracking all at the same time. There is coyote to worry about even though Henry and Kristen have mules to protect the calves. Dogs run the young calves down in the bottoms and it is an endless job checking on them. Sugar is kept completely away.
