Great Spotted Woodpecker

What wind we had last night. I was awake most of the night wondering what damage we would find in the morning. The garden chairs had all moved but none are broken and a few trees are damaged. A couple are precariously hanging over the road which is a worry. Foloh will have a go tomorrow at making it safer and David will bring his saw next time he is here .
Just about lunch time we had a power cut. I thought the old fridge was broken , and then I couldn't get the tumble drier to work . Foloh tried too . Then I tried a light switch and we realised it was a power cut. Luckily I had made soup and it was still hot so we had soup and then took our neighbour into Dingwall Tesco for a cuppa and shopping. The power was back when we got home.
