View from The Cape!

This morning I just couldn't resist taking a photo of the view from my little house as the sun was shining and the sky was blue. What you can't tell from the photograph is how windy it was up at The Cape of Good Hope. It was a task and a half to keep the wheelie bins, and yourself, upright!

I've enjoyed a morning catch up with Tina, who used to work at school but is now enjoying her early retirement, and Nicola who works part time. It's a pleasure to have time to natter away.

This afternoon I've been for a canal stroll and a little look in Brighouse which has survived much better than many of the local towns. There's a beautiful shop called Earth Angel filled with gorgeous little trinkets, scarves, jewellery, candles and so on. I love looking round it! :-)
