Stripes or crosses

I think the wind must have been disturbing the hound last night.  He seemed to be restless every hour.  So feeling a tad tired today. 

Still achieved two dog walks, a trip to town and baked a rhubarb cake.  But feeling like it's definitely Friday.

The bread stall in the market today had buns with stripes and crosses.  The stallholder said it was because it was still a little too soon for hot CROSS buns so the striped ones would do.  But it doesn't explain the presence of both striped and crossed buns.  And it really doesn't matter as they are fruity and spicily delicious.

Lazy dinner of baked potatoes tonight.
