Also known as the holly- leaved hellebore.
A plant which survives all weathers, grows by the house and doesn’t get any sun.
We have survived the strong winds. Only a dustbin blown over.
I couldn’t fool the Brontë fans yesterday.
The birth place of Charlotte Brontë was Thornton, near Bradford.
More recently the house was a cafe, but I think still closed, and up for sale. The Thornton community are hoping to buy the property and are still raising money by Crowdfunding. Not sure what the current situation is.
