Richmond Bridge

D’s birthday today. We strolled around old Richmond, remembering the many times we’ve come here, the shops and restaurants now gone, visits to the Orange Tree theatre or the cinemas over the years. Stopped for a rest near the Tidetables cafe, a favourite pit stop when walking or cycling to Kingston or Hampton Court.
We had lunch in a favourite restaurant where we ran onto Stephan and Carol, coincidentally also celebrating her birthday.
