Cast off, splint on!

It was a great reflief to be free of the plaster cast at last and I now have a splint to wear during the day, especially when out and about.  I can remove it for showering, in bed (for a few days) and when sitting watching TV. 

I was not smiling quite so happily when I did my exercises for the first time today - ouch!!  It hurt but I'm determined to do them three times a day at least to get rid of the scar tissue around the break that has built up and to get my wrist back to 'normal' again.  I think it will be a few more weeks before I can drive again though.
