The Children’s Carnaval

My favourite part of the Carnaval da Madeira is when the children, in their clubs and schools, dress up and have fun.

The weather has been very mixed so to have only intermittent drizzle and sunshine was a huge relief.

It’s quite a challenge to choose a photo that captures the excitement and the atmosphere -so I’ve put in a few extras too.
