Loch Fleet
Monday
Had a lovely day out to Dornoch. The forecast looked wonderful with sunny skies and no wind and it was right.
We walked around the town and the cathedral which has beautiful stained glass windows and it’s nice that it still has pews.
We had were hoping to get something to eat in the old court rooms but it was closed on a Monday so we found a little cafe instead. I had scrambled eggs and bacon with a croissant and Mike had the same on toast.
We drove onto Loch Fleet and spent some time watching the seals who had to keep shuffling up the sand banks as the tide came in.
We drove up to Dunrobin Castle which usually has an open garden to see the snowdrops but it was closed.
We drove home , stopping at ASDA to get some dinner.
Driving home was difficult as the sun was low but we made the most of the day and made it home safely :)
