Farmlife Not Wildlife

Escondido, California in search of grebes performing their mating dance.
So far, cold wind and no grebes.

Our campsite is right next to a pen with 2 goats who share space with 8 hens or maybe roosters?

One bird looks like a medium sized grey poodle. All are big and beautiful with feathers running down to their feet.

I shot this “tuxedo” goat through the fence.
Behind him - ducks taking a pre-sunset walk from the pond to the pen and back again.
