Blue Skies, Smiling at Me

Thank you for all your kind comments the last few days. I'm feeling much better and so was the weather! I'm writing this on Saturday morning as it's 'pishing it doon' out there - proper dreich and a perfect time to update blip and settle into a good book.

I took a few other photos on Friday. I was a little surprised how much you liked the two contrasting photos of the last couple of days so I nearly posted this to show what the same corner looks like earlier in the day.

I also nearly posted this one. The water in the dock is rarely as still as this and looking back on it I can see just how much breeze there was. For those of you not familiar with Victoria Quay, this is a Scottish Government building in Leith. Perhaps the stirring of the water represents the frisson civil servants feel about working towards an independent Scotland? Nah... civil servants keep calm and carry on!

I chose this photo because it feels hopeful and that's how I feel - on the mend and getting back to work.
