Not going out....

Shopping in Newcastle cancelled. No desire to sit on a steamy damp Quayside bus into the town, trail the shops with a wet collar, water trickling down my neck and squidgy feet and get my eyes poked out by stupid umbrella wielding women on a mission.

And the fact that my favourite Chinese Restaurant, 'Mango' has closed makes me even less fussed. Gawd I'll really miss their Ho Fan Noodles. I asked around and found out where their chef has gone - 'Sky Restaurant' but the excellent dish isn't on the menu - yet.

So it's a morning of James Wotsit in his Saturday Kitchen and an afternoon of book reading. I'm bored already.
