My morning routine was rapidly rescheduled to catch the FM’s announcement, live, of her intention to step down as soon as her successor is elected and approved by the Scottish Parliament. A fascinating day for all those who follow politics. In other news building control came to approve our conservatory upgrade. It rained. And local Highways responded promptly to repair, temporarily, the broken Pelican crossing.
