Full steam ahead

Had a quick look at the duck pond next to the library this morning to see what was there, just a few mallards who swam quickly towards me in search of food. Being a wet morning I guess there had not been many people out to feed them yet.

This afternoon I went to the cinema with a friend to see ‘Babylon’, a tale of excess in the early years of movie making from the director of LaLaLand and Whiplash. At 3hrs 9 mins long, the film is rather exhausting but I quite enjoyed it. I don’t tend to read much about a film before I go to see it, but have read the reviews since, they are quite mixed.
