Shining River

It's been a bit of a dull day with some rain this afternoon. The sun broke through later in the day and was shining off the river as I looked down on it.

It's the Wide on Wednesday challenge today (hosted by JensPhotos) and as it happens the theme is 'Looking Down'. For my photo I used a long lens and it was a very high contrast image with the trees by the railway standing out against the estuary at low tide. I've reproduced it much as I saw it, the image is in colour but looks black and white to me.
