Jane
Sorry about the lack of engagement just recently, but blip has needed to take a back seat. Phil, my oldest friend from Cheltenham, lost his wife Jane a few weeks ago in devastating circumstances. She was very fit, a lover of nature, a walker, a maker of jams and cordials and a loving mother of four adult children, and grandmother to six grandchildren. She developed a cough, which turned into a lung infection (pneumonia), quickly followed by sepsis. Both her legs were amputated in an effort to save her - sadly too late and she passed away within a few days in an induced coma.
I’ve been back in Cheltenham during the last week, for the funeral which was the most wonderful celebration of her life, and to support Phil where possible.
Comments will remain off for a bit, but I will start to visit your journals again shortly.
R.I.P. Jane.
