The ride went over the hill to Golden Bay and reaching Takaka the local populace were out protesting about the government, the press and just about anything else that was suggested I expect.
They were to be my Blip but on returning from the ride lunch venue but it seems protesting stops for lunch or it is a mornings occupation only!

The Extra is Molly B's at Pohara which was the lunch venue and the first time we have been there and will go again we were made very welcome.
