Rydal Water

We met C&N and the grandchildren at Bowness on Windermere for a ride on the open top bus to Grasmere.  We had wanted to do this for a long time and thought the children might enjoy it.  It was very cold.  This was the view of Rydal Water taken from upstairs, outside.  The journey wasn't as smooth as I had anticipated and this was the best of the photos I took.  

We went to the park for the children to play on the swings and then had lunch and caught the afternoon bus home.

Really good day and we won't need any rocking tonight.
