Summer in February!

On the beach today I needed no scarf, hat or gloves! There were lots of people and happy dogs on the beach in the sunshine. It was warm enough for kids to build sandcastles, and for me to sit on a rock and watch the waves rolling in.

But I had to queue for a space in the village car park! All the people I spoke to were visitors. One family told me they normally stay in St Ives but decided it would be too crowded there! (Trixie’s mum told me it wasn’t crowded there on Sunday!)
