Room with a view
It was an early start to the day as we wanted to get across London before rush hour kicked in fully. It was a smooth journey out to Heathrow T5 and we cleared security really quickly. The flight out to Boston was good apart from the seats as we had forgotten to check in early so had the two middle seats in the middle aisle. We landed in Boston late afternoon and were greeted with blue skies and sunshine. We had picked a hotel with a view over the harbour and it was great to see the boats bobbing around on the water. We were both really tired after a long day but were desperate to try and beat the jet leg so went for a walk along the harbour wall. I love the feeling of arriving in a new city and forming first impressions coupled with the excitement of exploring. We didn't last very long as the tiredness caught up with us and after some room service dinner we were fast asleep.
