Lacock Abbey NT (Monday 13th February 2023)
These are not from the Woodland Garden, unfortunately, as mine are some way away from blooming, so I went out in search of signs of spring to Lacock Abbey, my first National Trust visit of the year.
As soon as I got inside I was presented with rows of snowdrops, crocuses and celandines. My K1 gave out after one shot and the spare battery was still on charge so that became a dead weight in my camera bag, but luckily I was carrying my P900 bridge camera and my lightweight Leica LX100. Having rested my back for a couple of weeks I was testing it gingerly and can report considerable improvement, but a different story with stomach muscles playing up.
I walked up to the Rockworks but no sightings of Smokey II again. I walked on to the deep pool and then round the outside of the Abbey. I spotted a swanky vintage baby Austin (in Extras) in the Red Lion car park on the way back to the car.

Eyolf Dale - A Current Peace Of Mind (2023)
The very reliable Sara Mohr-Pietsch played this on Night Tracks (Radio Three) very recently. The Eyolf Dale Trio are from Norway and comprise Eyolf Dale (piano), Audun Kleive (drums) and Per Zanussi (bass, saw). This is from The Wayfarers.
