Ready to ride

Hectic evening swapping bits between bikes and working out what the best set up for what looks like a long day in the rain tomorrow on the first leg of my Pedal on Parliament 2 ride ... bought a pair of overshoes today and am breaking out all my waterproof kit.

When I ride in the rain I count myself lucky that I've got the chance to do that and feel the wind jostle me and the rain run down my face ... unlike the countless thousands who have been cut down simply because they happened to be on a bike.

Bring down the rain! It will take more than a day long deluge to stop me from getting down to Edinburgh for POP2 on Sunday :)

P.S. Not sure how these laminated Panda panier posters will stand up to 170 miles of wet :)
