Museum Monday

Cindy, Mike, Lisa, and I went to the Ringling Museum of Art today. We were there when they opened at 10 a.m., and stayed for a couple of hours.

I forced them to pose in front of the giant painting by Peter Paul Rubens to show the size. If Mikey is close to 6 feet tall, I'm going to guess that the painting is 16 feet tall by 16 feet wide. How do you think they do it...with some form of scaffolding?

After the museum, we went to lunch at Sonny's BBQ, and then to Trader Joes grocery store.

It was quite windy today, so I didn't go out for the sunset. Inspired by the masters, I stayed home and painted instead.
