Dama Club

Day two in Zagreb. Morning busy work wise. Late afternoon lunch at Mum's. She is better that yesterday. Walked to to see mother in law. On my way there passed near '80 residential block of buildings. At the time it was build commercial space was hiving. Coffee shops, restaurants, at one stage late '80 it was very popular. Surely but slowly went down. In the '90 lot of all-in-one shops open. This was probably one of them . It seems closed not, not sure what it was. It reminded me on recent interview by Frank Herzogamericansuburb.com where he [talking about neon signs] says "The neon signs and the soft drink signs, the cigarette ads and the billboards and the posters and the grafitti and collages of torn-off posters, all that contributes to make the city a place where art actually happens. That kind of casual art, overlapping posters, can be very very interesting. Those posters illustrate the city even if people are not there.".
Dinner with J & M, Felix and J. Z joined later on. To his own words pretty drunk. It was hilarious. However when he drove me home he told out of the blue that he is going through rough patch.
