La Donna del Lago

Premiere of the Rossini opera at Covent Garden.

It's a silly story, written by Sir Walter Scott, but magnificently sung. American mezzo-soprano, Joyce di Donato, was stunning. Juan Diego Florez, was the King....... Just amazing.

I sneaked a pic during the curtain call.

I think it's going to be a rather nice weekend.
