Tracking
Another full day at the end of which we were too tired to play Mexican Trains and so played Chicken Feet instead.
We started the day walking the circuit and later took the Kelly Kettle for a walk around Västan åfallet which is a waterfall that is usually frozen throughout the winter months . The thought was that the higher temps this week would have brought the falls back into life .
It was thrilling to see the water coursing under the ice , surfacing at times before going under again. the log flume was also back in action , sending blocks of ice down instead of timber. it was hypnotic to watch , we stood for ages , took photos and videos and then .....
We started playing with the ice and the flume , experimenting in various ways . Eventually we had had our fill and moved on to collecting fuel for the Kelly Kettle in order to make a hot drink.
My photo is of a series of animal tracks which caught my eye as the tracks seemed to belong to a creature chasing its tail . the consensus of the group is that the tracks were probably made by a dog or a fox .
Afterwards we treated ourselves to a little more retail therapy, it had to be done !
