A little vase of Spring.

I picked these snowdrops from the garden. Always remind me of my mum as these were her vases. Lovely for tiny garden flowers at any time of year.

Yesterday’s quiz question was quite difficult.
Most of you knew Harold Wilson was a Prime Minster from Yorkshire but only one got all three right. The other two were,
Herbert Henry Asquith, and Charles Watson Wentworth.
Today’s question will be easier and those who don’t come from Yorkshire May also know the answer.

Monday, wash day, and put it outside to dry.
It was dull this morning but the sun came out after lunch. However at this time of year the sun doesn’t shine on the garden and with no breeze it was only partly dry when I picked it in.

Rather an expensive day with car MOT and Service. Three new bulbs needed and also a new front coil spring. Fingers crossed that will be it for a while!

Another of our dear friends has passed away.
Denise ( second right) died only a few months after her husband. So on this photo ( taken almost 60 years ago) only me and MrC centre, and John, on the left are still around.
Still can’t believe that only three of us are left.
