.... aka Bell Heather.
Bell Heather is our most familiar heather. It carpets our heaths, woods and coasts with purple-pink flowers that attract all kinds of nectar-loving insects.

This little sprig is hardly a carpet and there are certainly no nectar-loving insects around at the moment but it did add a splash of colour in Bellahouston Park.
