Papcastle

This is the river Derwent at Papcastle…a Roman village very close to Cockermouth.

Ros is busy on her phone…there are lambs behind her, just out of the photo.

Look how blue the water of the river is!

This morning we walked around Lorton…a village about 6 miles from Cockermouth. We saw the first daffodils of the year! ( see ‘extra’ photo )

Another Spring like day is forecast for tomorrow!
