Lucy made some cupcakes earlier in the week, and they brought them round after school. Normally my rule is "if kids made it, we don't eat it ", but I made an exception for these ;-) Despite Lucy eating her own, I still had to 'share' mine with her, and ended up without the most important part - the icing....

Had a day off feeling a bit under the weather, but got up early and did all my chores, then headed to mum's. I'm staying there this weekend as He is away and I can catch up on some much needed sleep and some dog-time with Little B. 

Even though it was a bit grey, the air smelled of spring, and it reminded me that better days are coming. Just so done with winter right now.
