Wood on the fly!

At 28 degrees, it seemed an odd day to start storing wood for winter! However , it is a necessary task. We often refer to the collecting of firewood the “first burn”; stacking it “2nd burn” ; then using it the “final burn “!
We will really appreciate it in winter.

It was amazing swimming in the lake late this afternoon- the water has certainly got much higher,and it was beautiful
