Sunday: Belize City Cannons

I had to head up to Belize City today for a work event.  Luckily it was at a relatively civilized hour and didn’t last too long but it’s still a bit of a trek up there.  These cannons were apparently used in the Battle of St George’s Caye - just so you know.

It was, in relative terms, quite chilly today.  For the first time since we’ve been here I wore jogging bottoms at home rather than shorts.  It was actually quite nice not to feel overheated.
