M class Flare

AR1748 fired an M class flare in the general direction of Earth this morning and it may well interact with our magnetic field towards the end of the weekend. This would usually mean auroral activity at higher latitudes, ie Scotland, but may be visible further south. It's all a bit unpredictable!
