Oh gee!

It's a Geebung...a Persoonia by its botanical name. This one has been growing in the Campbell Rhododendron Gardens at Blackheath for something like 100 years, so they say. The flakey bark of Persoonias is most attractive - especially when not as wet as it was this morning when we were at the Gardens-  and  yellow tubular flowers are produced in summer.
