Ms. Cardinal

It's been raining all day. At about lunch time I took pity on the cardinals I could see waiting and hoping for some attention, so I went out and sprinkled sunflower seeds (which I don't usually do in the middle of the day). BOOM there were about 50 cardinals out there almost immediately. Seriously. Fifty. Each one of the 25 or so males had a female to match him. There were also a whole lot of other birds, but the cardinals do catch one's eye.
