Apples and Oranges

The old book I found in the free bin at the library.
'The way back' translated my German friend this for me. And apparently it's about soldiers coming back home in search of a new way of life back home - isch. So, don't have to be careful with it but can dismantle it and use it in my junk journals. :) I just counted how many I've mad, so far, and 12 junk journal and 2 art journals, so far...
I'm so tired... which is odd, since I over slept this morning, turning off the alarm in my sleep - or perhaps just thought I put the alarm on and didn't - I don't know. My head's still spinning too.
Just as I had made myself a cup of tea, my relative in Australia video called me. We spoke for almost 1 1/2 hour, which was really nice. I always looked up to him when I was younger so it's so nice to be able to have a grown up relationship with him now. He knew my dad... and when he had a horrible surfing accident 'down under', which left him paralysed at first, my dad (who was a doctor) contacted the doctors at the hospital and then told my relative that he was going to be ok. Something my relative is grateful for even this day. I think getting reassurance from a relative who knew what he was talking about was really calming. He is ok, too, thankfully. :)
