Racing snails

Oli was off work again today. Noah slept really well (7.30pm-8am) and then came to bed with me for a feed and slept again until 10.30 - we all had a huge lie in! The boy had breakfast, we sorted ourselves out, and off we went to run some errands and have a scout. We drove down to bluebell woods to see what the situation was with the bluebells, glorious! Noah was asleep so we just had a quick browse and then off we went to the bank and post office.

It was a quick trip home to dump daddy who was leaving for a man's weekend (sigh) and off we went to pick up Kirsty and Imogen to meet some of the NCT mamas and babies for a little adventure in JUMP! - a soft play warehouse in Cardiff.

Had to put him in this, it reminds me of the racing snails from the neverending story. He was a little bit clingy but we forgive him, I plonked him on the boucy castle and he was NOT amused but after a little play and bounce he came around to the idea of castles that bounce. We also visited the ball pit, some giant soft animals, a little push along car and other various exciting soft-play related thingys.

Came home and being alone I needed to be super organised, FAIL. Instead I laughed my pants off watching Noah eat mushy peas (I wish I'd filmed it, each mouthfull was a YUM sound). Bath time was great and as usual I took a ton of pics and videos (it really does have brilliant light in that tiny bathroom of ours) but I'm slightly concerned - I dropped my camera yesterday (only off the bed!) but it's gone a bit wrong and I can't have it not working! AAAARGH!
