Adventures with Betty Blue

First bike ride in a few months. 

After years of not being able to cycle I finally got an electric bike last year, she is awesome and I named her Betty Blue. 

Some might say it's cheating but those people would be idiots :D I say it gives this disabled person the chance to explore again. 

I am still getting used to her, she is very heavy so sliding in the mud today was a little scary and I chickened out and hopped off to walk the rest of the mud and she is a challenge getting down steps. Oh the pinch points along the canal are an arse as I have to hop off and wiggle her through.

Last summer I did take her up the bike gully a couple of time up this stepped section to get to the top of a viaduct I only managed it because I have walk assist and even then because of the weight it was tricky, worth the effort but not something I can do very often, thankfully the other side is ramped and they have received funding to ramp all of it now. 

It also still amuses me that I cycle my Raleigh past the Raleigh factory, it's the little things.
