Cat treat, birthday and volcano

My mother is home again after her long weekend in Reykjavík. Loðvík was happy to receive a malt cream cat treat when she came to dinner. 

Extra photos: Today it's Róbert's, my brothers Labrador birthday, and also it's been 50 years since the volcanic eruption started in Vestmannaeyjar in 1973, on the island Heimaey where I lived. I was only a toddler at the time. This photo was published in a national newspaper in the year 1974 when everyone participated in cleaning up the pumice and ashes in Herjólfsdalur. Here is my grandmother and me and my cousin Drífa.
