Wilderhope Manor
After a trip to the gym and lunch with Dad, Chris and I headed to Much Wenlock for an afternoon walk. We did walk number 20 out of my 50 Shropshire Walks book which was about 3 miles long. It was a bit grey and gloomy but was lovely to get out in the fresh air.
Wilderhope Manor is a National Trust property that's only open on Sundays for visitors as it's leased out to Youth Hostels Association. I checked the website on the way home and it's beautiful inside. It's well worth a visit if you want a cheap visit to Shropshire but you'll have to book in advance as it looks fully booked for the rest of the year!
Once home, it was nice to have Dan and Michelle over for their tea.
