Waving to Vikram

Neighbours came over to dinner tonight,  one who works at the same magazine H writes for occasionally so it was good to put them together.    This is everyone waving to Vikram who was texting in from LA where he is clearing his storage locker, trying at least to downsize it if not ship it over here. 

Other than that I went over to Mum at lunch taking soup that Henry had made and having a good chat.  Then in the afternoon H and I walked a bit before cooking.  She made a very good chicken dish from Diana Henry and I made a not entirely successful Seville Orange tart from Nigella Lawson - it didn’t set properly but did taste very nice…

Quite nice having a small group of people over - it made the cooking and clearing up quite easy.
