Five
The first book of the holiday finished first thing after Bailey had had his breakfast and we had gone back to bed. Strictly speaking, only the last 30 or so pages have been read during the holidays but I think it still counts. A well-written historical novel about a character usually on the periphery. There were links to other historical figures (Katherine Swynford and Richard III) and the beginning of the Wars of the Roses told through one perspective.
Once we were up properly, Dad walked Bailey after breakfast and we then went to do a supermarket shop. Home via a bedding purchase for the little bedroom and then not an awful lot done as befits the first day of half term.
