In The Pink

Have you ever wondered what would happen if a gray squirrel and a red squirrel started dating, fell in love and had a baby? What color would the baby be? I’m guessing a shade of pink! Can you imagine? Move over Pink Panther! • Now that you have a cute baby pink squirrel in your head I’m going to tell you these two will never mate. They are reproductively incompatible, per Google. Ah, shucks, such a disappointment! • We saw the same two juvenile eagles again today, perched together in a tree not far from us. Unfortunately I didn’t have my camera. There were also two mature eagles soaring in circles over the open water areas hunting for prey. It was concerning because a group of gulls and a few ducks were lounging on the ice • Tomorrow is Super Bowl Sunday. It’s a much more relaxing game when your team isn’t playing. We’ll likely watch part of it over dinner, and ironically will be cheering on - are you ready for it - the Eagles, as in the Philadelphia Eagles!!
