A fine male Bullfinch

Spotted a male and female Bullfinch on the high branches of one of the trees down by the river in Pollok Park.

To begin with they were too high and the light was poor but they did do a bit of flitting among budding twigs and eventually the male was on a lower twig and on the right side of the tree so a photo was possible and with a bit of editing the photo has turned out better than I hoped.

What a great game of rugby ...... if you are a Scot!!
