Six Nations flags

This is a view of Church Street in Twickenham with many flags of the ‘Six Nations’ (England,Wales,Scotland,Ireland, France and Italy) as the annual Rugby matches have now started including several at Twickenham Stadium…Eng v Scotland last week and Eng v Italy tomorrow. Twickenham is very busy with fans on match days both before and after the matches so to be avoided then!
The street is now pedestrianised and has lots of interesting little shops and many restaurants. It is very near the river and Eel Pie Island, hence the name of the pub. I went for a short walk round the area including watching rowers from Twickenham Rowing club while my husband went to do food shopping.

I made a start on my ‘list’ …going through lots of photos on disks from 2006 & 2007. Will aim to do some each day until finished!
