Mrs Soup has a make-over

Kim, the queen of all things beautifying, set-to on Mrs S and on a conversation that lasted 5 hours. Still, Kim is one of Mrs Soup's oldest friends and they had a lot to catch-up on.

While Mavis was being "done" we took on the responsibility of making crowns out of gold card for a quiz tomorrow night. Apparently these are essential items for those leading in the quiz (those bringing up the rear have dunces hats). For some odd reason the crowns tend to go missing at the end, while the dunces' headgear is left behind. Anyhoo - Jim, quiz master extraordinaire, (apparently he has done it many times) is masterminding the Wine and Wisdom quiz, in aid of testicular cancer. Kim will be acting as the hostess and gofer.

Finally, thanks to Kim for the use of her shower after my run along the front - the weather was bracing!
