Socialising

A trip out on MrB to pick up my mastervolt charger. Quite a puff into the wind. And who did I meet coming the other way but PL on his Brompton too. An electric one. Rigged up by himself - and they’ve got rid of their car too. It’s the future innit.
Then a call in at the daughter's. Their extension may be finished in a week’s time which is some time later than the estimated date of last August. That’s builders. Well, certain builders. And the wee man was quite engaging (extra). Almost arriving back at the house, I saw a stream of emergency vehicles heading along to the boatclub. Coastguard too. The Queensferry lifeboat was just arriving at the pontoon. Not great news; poor soul.
Later up town to Stills for their Stills School exhibition. The SK was on a three line whip to attend - and actually it was great fun - a much livelier occasion than last year (probably thanks to Sean the DJ) and really well attended. Much chatter. I think L may be more in need of friends than I realised - well, certainly his wife thinks so. And she knows where we live..... eek.
